Paws and Reins – Animal Surrender Request Form

Finding a rescue or a place to surrender your animal is not easy especially right now with the amount of animals becoming homeless.

Please complete the following request form to help us understand your situation and why you are surrendering your pet.

We get many requests everyday so we can’t help everyone but we will come back to you once we have reviewed your application.

Alternatives to Surrender

Before making the decision to surrender, consider exploring these options:

Rehoming Assistance: Many organizations offer support to help you find a new, loving home for your pet.

Behavioral Support: Consulting with trainers or behaviorists may resolve issues that seem insurmountable.

Temporary Care: Friends, family, or foster programs can provide temporary solutions while you address your situation.

Surrender Fee

To help cover the costs associated with the care and rehoming of surrendered animals, we request a surrender fee. This fee assists with:

Veterinary Care: Health checks, vaccinations, and treatments.

Desexing and Microchipping: Ensuring pets are ready for adoption.

Boarding and Feeding: Providing shelter and nourishment.

Behavioral Assessments: Evaluating and addressing any behavioral issues.

Please note that surrender fees may vary depending on the animal's age, species, and other factors. For specific fee information, please contact us directly.
